It's taken much longer than I'd anticipated, but my third scanlation is finally complete. Storie Blu #62: IL MOSTRO VIOLA was was first released on Monday, July 23rd, 1984 by Ediperiodici.
Something sinister is going on at the Hotel Rexon, and crack journalist Cyd Brougham is determined to find out what!
Beginning with this post, I'm going to start giving scenario and artist credits for each book to the best of my ability.
Candida la Marchesa #2 was written by Renzo Barbieri, drawn by Vincenzo Monti and the cover by Alessandro Biffignandi.
Storie Blu Special #15 was written by Carmelo Gozzo and drawn by Francesco Blanc.
Storie Blu #62 (this fumetti here) was also written by Carmelo Gozzo and drawn by Manlio Truscia.

That is one of the best ever, Jaako. The Almighty Gideon! What a story. I love how the hotel has a detective who assists victimized guests. There must be a lot of them to justify his paycheck. The flashback to Gideon's rape of a girl from his own race is priceless. Terrific ending, too.

My Italian is still very limited, though it is growing gradually thanks to these wonderful books. "Translation Aggregator" + Wiktionary have been enough to produce some pretty comprehensible translations, though some series I've attempted (Storie/Terror Blu) have definitely proved less challenging than others (La Donna Ragna/Sbarre).
That said, Jaakko certainly deserves credit for the existence of these scanlations, as without his recommendations, I'd likely never have purchased Candida, SBS #15 and countless other fumetti. :o
