Programming note

Hey Groovy Agers--a minor personal catastrophe has forced my hand about taking an important step forward with my life that I've been putting off for some years now. Making that transition (which could take me just this week, or maybe until the end of the month) will occupy quite a bit of time and probably most of my attention and other mental resources, so blogging may be light, but once I'm on the other side of it, blogging should commence more regularly and probably more often than I've been able to manage in a while.
