checking in

Okay, I'm all moved over to downtown Savannah, but not unpacked yet. Most unfortunately, don't have the internets hooked up yet, so I'm posting this from Panera. Reading Feast for Crows. When I ordered it from Amazon (along with all the others), I noticed it had fewer stars than the others, and I can sort of understand why. Since it shifts almost entirely to characters who'd previously been supporting cast, and plot threads that have previously seemed tangential, it's almost like reading a bunch of tie-in miniseries to some crossover event. Also, haven't had a chance to watch the HBO series at all. I'm afraid I may not catch it this go-round, but will certainly get it on disc if the (right) reviews stay adulatory.

Thanks for your patience as I go through this transition. Stay tuned, and stay groovy!

I didn't stop the novel; I decided to make it part of something larger, and right now I'm studying larger narratives to figure out the best way to do that. I apologize for the delay, and appreciate both your eagerness and your patience.
