There's a vacuum in my paperback collection I just can't seem to fill, and I absolutely abhor it. I toss this query out every once in a while, but so far no luck. Who knows?--maybe this time someone who can point me in the right direction will notice and respond.
What I want is:
- Paperbacks written in the '60s-70s
- by British authors
- aimed at (young) women
- with a '60s-70s London setting and contemporary sensibility.
Something in the spirit of the
Take Three Girls tv show (and words can't describe how bitter I am that
TTG is lost to us and will probably never appear on dvd), only in paperback form. Surely something like that MUST exist, right? How could it not? Surely some publisher must have devoted a line or imprint to novels of that sort? Any help you could give me in finding this sort of thing would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Curt, I can not help you but you can feel your pain and craving so I will enclose your plea in my nightly prayers to the Paperback Lord in the hope that he will grant you your wish!
Not sure if this is what you had in mind, but Groupie by Jenny Fabian and Chelsea Bird by Virginia Ironside might fit the bill.
Those look pretty spot-on, Oliver--thanks!
