Sukia N. 122: "E.C." ("E.B."), published in August, 1983

The female vampire Sukia and his gay sidekick Gary are spending some quality time at home, when Gary spots a strange creature. "Cazzo!" he exclaims.

As some of you probably know, "cazzo" is a common Italian slang word for penis, but unlike its English counterpart, it's also often used as an expletive. The creature memorizes the word immediately and keeps repeating it, much to Gary's amusement.

It turns out that the creature can transform into anything it sees...

...including a guy from Gary's porno mag. After some sweet loving Gary dubs the creature "E.B.", Extra-terrestial Butt-pirate.

When Sukia hears about all this, she thinks it's just Gary's normal bullshit, but then the creature turns into princess Caroline of Monaco...

...and has hot lesbian sex with Sukia.

Later E.B. returns home. The End.

But wait, there's more. Hushicho Phoenix, possibly the biggest Sukia fan online, wants to tell you about his new comic, Lamia.

"Lamia", says Hushicho, "is the chronicle of a sexy vampiress and her companion and best friend Antonio. Each story has plenty of sexy, plenty of silly, and plenty of scary. Each book of Lamia, a complete story of its own, is available in a variety of different versions: the Standard Edition is the version you can read online, a quick-moving and exciting tale; the Director's Cut is a version with exclusive bonus material, over 10 pages in the case of the first book, too sexy, scary, or otherwise unable to be fit into the Standard Edition. Each version has a different cover, both of which are available as posters for your enjoyment!"

"In the first book, Baroness of Blood, Lamia and Antonio stop over for gas on a road trip and find themselves drawn into a power struggle in a small town. An evil figure -- a baroness -- has taken over, and she's flexed her fascist muscles. Will censorship and government evil win out, or will the world's sexiest vampiress teach them the meaning of 'might makes right'?"

"On a personal level, I hope you will all check out and enjoy Lamia. I'm trying something new, and I think you're going to enjoy it. The first story is always the most difficult, but by the second, it's easier to get into the rhythm of things. By then, you're familiar with the cast and world and the circumstances. I'm already into the second book, and it's a delight to do. Lamia and Antonio have come so vividly alive (or unalive I guess, considering) and I'm so excited for you to meet and enjoy them as I do. If the comic receives the support it needs, the output will of course be faster since we'll be able to dedicate more time to it. I do hope you'll all come read Lamia and pick up the comics for your own collections! It's no secret that Lamia started life as homage to fumetti and became her own thing."

"Thanks so much to all of you at Groovy Age of Horror for your support
and kindness!"

You can check out Lamia yourself here.

Have a Happy Halloween, Groovy Agers :-)

Hmmm, I've just been told that "butt-pirate" is a very derogatory term, even though I thought it was more on the light side. Well, you live and learn. Remember, folks, that I'm Finnish, so I'm a bit "tone deaf" when it comes to English language, especially slang words. My apologies.

I find your apology more offensive than your usage of "Butt-Pirate".

If anyone gets offended by "Butt-Pirate", then is everything else on this Blog offensive? And if so. then what the fuck are they doing here?

Sounds like one of your readers out there needs a pirate shoved up THEIR butt.....

AAARRRRRRRRRRR!!!

Stonerphonic,
actually this was pointed out to me by an English-speaking friend, no regular readers complained about it. I don't mind deliberately offending people, but when I do it without knowing it, I always feel a bit embarassed later :p

Man, when shopping in Italy I must have looked through hundreds of Sukia.
I own very few, mainly because I am put off by Nicola Del Principe's art.
Stories get as goofy as any of the adult fumetti and the homosexual elements don't put me off.
Like some other fumetti artists Del Principe's style is just not refined enough for me .... so it goes.
