The future of fumetti posts

Hi, Jaakko here, your fumetti guy. You wanna hear story? No? Good, I'll tell you anyway: when I was a kid, I found a discarded, half-decomposed Zorro comic book while wandering in a local forest. Strangely enough, this comic contained a scene where Zorro touches a naked girl's buttock, and the girl exclaims: "AHHHH, YOU'RE SO WONDERFUL!" It was odd, but I still kinda liked it. I didn't know this new, wonderful Zorro originated from Italy until much, much later.

And that, my friends, was the first fumetti I ever saw (a Finnish edition of Zorro L'infilzatore, Zorro The Penetrator, to be exact). The End.

Why did I tell you this story? Well, lets just say that blogging doesn't have as wonderful hands as Zorro, and after only two and a half years of it, I'm pooped. And that's where you come in, dear reader. From now on I'm no longer a regular blogger, I'm a request-only blogger. If you want to know something specific about fumetti, just request it on the comment section of any one my fumetti posts, and I see what I can do. And if you want me to review some fumetti you've seen on eBay, make a request, I have a large collection, and there's a good chance I have it. And no, I will never ever scan full fumetti , even my scanlation site Puhdasta Eksploitaatiota is now officially dead, but reviews I can do.

Here's a link to Italian eBay's fumetti erotici d'epoca department, where you all can find inspiration for requesting. Curt and the gang will naturally continue blogging normally, this thing applies only to me, Jaakko. Sorry for the inconvenience.

But the fumetti posts were so much fun! Don't do this to us, please! Have pity over trash-maniacs from Eastern Europe, too poor to collect all these great Italian comics !!!

I'm not quitting completely, folks, I'm still doing requests. If you want info or reviews about some fumetti series, just ask me.

I'm not sure if you discussed this before, as I haven't gone through all of the archives, but could you possibly write an article detailing ways for fumetti fans to get their hands on comics like Terror Blu and Oltretomba? I've personally been making some attempts on the Italian eBay, but it's very difficult to find good deals that ship worldwide.

I'm not sure if you'd know anything about how an American could obtain quality fumetti, but as long as you're taking requests, I figure it's worth a try.

Hallo Jaako,

If you do have Information about the Series Jolanda de Almaviva, Isabella, Jungla, Vartan or Angelica it would be great, if you could blog them.

Regards

Krisi

MadFractalist,

I actually have a complete set of Vartan, so I'll certainly blog about that series in the future. My collection of Jolanda, on the other hand, is still very much incomplete, but I see what I can do.

As for the other series you mentioned, well, I honestly can't provide much info. Isabella is a decent female pirate series, but so damn long I never bothered to collect it, as I'm not that into pirates. And I never collected Angelica and Jungla either, as I didn't like the artwork.
