DR. BARNARD's Nurse Barbara

So I was racking my brains, trying to think of any nurses in fumetti I own, when it hit me: my Dutch Frankensteins are double issues, and the second feature is always Dr. Barnard. I've never given them any more than a cursory flip-through, but decided this would be the perfect time to make closer acquaintance. Surely there'd be naughty nurses!

The original covers are never reprinted for these Dutch translations, but I found some by digging through the ebay.it fumetti listings:

This is a kind of sexy medical drama fumetti, which as far as I can tell usually revolves around Dr. Christian Barnard getting in trouble with the Mob or some other heavy group for fixing up someone they wanted to stay dead.

I expected to find naughty nurses galore. In fact, Dr. Barnard does shag a lot of ladies (more on that in the next installment!), but at least in the sampling available to me, he seems to be a one-nurse man.

Groovy Agers, meet Nurse Barbara!

She's always up for a quickie with the good doctor, whether it's bent over a lab table . . .

. . . or in a storage closet.

Here's my favorite. They've just come out of surgery.

It's New Year's Eve (1975), hence Dr. Barnard's evening wear (he must have missed a party or been called away from one). Under her scrubs, however, Nurse Barbara's ready to rock and roll at a moment's notice--and does she ever!

I can't imagine a better use for that champagne.

Whoops--busted!!

Even out of uniform, Nurse Barbara's smoking hot! Here she rocks a groovy style whilst mixing drinks.

When Dr. Barnard swings by for an actual date, check out what she's almost wearing when she greets him! Knowing these two, it can only lead to one thing . . .

Exactly.

Stay tuned, Groovy Agers--there's more naughty Nurse Barbara still to come!

Wow that's some really amazing ink work. Who's the artist?

Great blog by the way. I wandered over here via and-now-the-screaming-starts and love all the old cover art you've collected here.

Wish I could help you there, spacejack, but not many creators signed their names to these adult fumetti. Thanks for the kind words about the blog! I hope you continue to enjoy it.

Hi.

Very nice blog.

The covers that you found are from the Portuguese editions. The were published in the late 70´s. You can stil find a lot of this type fummetti in portuguese auction sites.

Best regards

The artist is a guy called Ferdinando Tacconi. He's really good and has done heaps of stuff, not just soft porn comics lol. His more recent work has been done for Itallian comics publishers Bonelli, on comics such as Dylan Dog and Nick raider.
