JACULA

Seems like forever since I've introduced a new fumetti series! All right then, here goes. One category that always was a sure-fire hit was the sexy vampire woman. We've already seen Zora and Sukia. Well, meet JACULA!! Oh, um, that's not her in the coffin on the cover above.

That's more like it! I love these Hammerific covers.

What sets her apart from the other sexy horror fumetti vamps is the fact that she's married! Yep--see for yourself: she's tying the knot right here before your eyes. Notice that the "Burgemeester" is doing the honours, rather than a priest; this is a secular ceremony, or how else could a vampire stand it? I just have to give a plug here to Carnacki's novel, Mystery of the Haunted Vampire, which

***********(SPOILER!!!)*************

really has an outstanding vampire wedding scene.

Jacula and her husband, Torlin, also have a child. Here we see some meddling bitch testing to see if the child is a vampire by dropping a cross on it. Sure enough, the poor little tyke screams and burns at the contact. Don't worry--Jacula fixes this hag's little red wagon soon enough.

Talk about a baptism of fire! Jacula consecrates her child to Satan.

A few years later . . .
Kids do the darnedest things!

Don't let the hubby and child fool you, though--Jacula isn't entirely domesticated! She still gets her share (and then some) of hot vamp-on-victim action. That ain't Torlin she's biting in bed here!

She doesn't disappoint, either, when it comes to the jaw-dropping sleaze that is the hallmark of Groovy Age fumetti. Here she dumps one victim, a naked hooker, in the river. I'll do another installment later to let you see just how crazy things could get for Jacula. Till then, stay groovy!

The crazier the better.

I'd forgotten how much fun these little series were. I've missed them.

What an outstanding find. As a long time slave to Vampirella, Jacula is a nice adjunct.

I was always fascinated with Jacula's no pity attitude to other characters in her story! No need of someone, then dispose of him or her! LOL
