Frankenstein Fumetti Cover Gallery

I'm down to one shy of a full run (16 was the last), but I'm still trying to put my hands on that one I'm missing, and I'll add it here when I do. In the meantime, here's what I've got:

I have to say, they weren't as hard to acquire as I expected. It takes patience and vigilance to catch them whenever and wherever they pop up, but no more than keeping an eye out for any other sort of collector's item.

Which are my favorites? In order of preference, I'd say 4, 3, and 2, with 11 getting points for standing out like a groovy thumb. So which do you like best, and why?

FRANKENSTEIN Fumetti

The Frankenstein fumetti cribbed heavily from Hammer's Evil of Frankenstein (1964) for the Monster's "birth" scene.



The Monster is clever enough to disguise himself, and articulate enough to pass for "normal" . . .



. . . but retains his savage capacity for violence.



Gay sex is depicted with striking candor in fumetti. Above, Baron Frankenstein seduces a strapping young man he plans to murder later for body parts. At center, Lucifera's brother tempts a friar who ignored her feminine charms. Below, in the Maffia fumetti, tough cops break in on a gay couple with mob connections.



"Beauty and the Beast"--the Frankenstein Monster with his blind beloved, Betty.



The Frankenstein Monster gets whupped by a gorilla . . .



. . . with predictably horrible consequences for Betty.
